Vedanta to Consider First Interim Dividend for FY27

Vedanta says its board will meet on October 8 to decide whether to approve an interim dividend for the 2026–27 financial year.

A dividend is money a company may pay to its shareholders.

The company set October 14 as the date used to determine which shareholders could receive it, if it is declared.

Vedanta shares rose on Monday and closed at ₹255.05.

The announcement came after the company shared updates on its recent production.

Its Zinc India business reported strong metal output in the first half of the year.

Vedanta also said chrome ore production and port cargo handling reached records.

Ferrochrome production increased compared with the same period a year earlier.
