Vedanta shares rose on Monday and closed at ₹255.05.

The announcement came after the company shared updates on its recent production.

Its Zinc India business reported strong metal output in the first half of the year.

Vedanta also said chrome ore production and port cargo handling reached records.

Ferrochrome production increased compared with the same period a year earlier.
