First Great Indian Bustard Chicks Released in Rewilding Tunnel

First Great Indian Bustard Chicks Released in Rewilding Tunnel

For the first time, three baby Great Indian Bustards, a very rare and endangered bird, have been put into a special tunnel to help them learn how to live in the wild.

This tunnel is like a school for the birds where they can practice being in nature without people touching them.

They will stay there for about four months while cameras watch them.

After that, they will be moved to a big park called the Desert National Park.

This is a big deal because there are very few of these birds left, and this could help them come back.

The Great Indian Bustard is also the state bird of Rajasthan, so it's very important to the people there.
