NITES Complaints Against Wipro for Delayed Onboarding
A group called NITES has complained to the government about Wipro, a big company.
They say Wipro promised jobs to over 250 new graduates but hasn't given them a start date or any clear information for six to eight months.
These graduates were selected through campus interviews and even got emails saying they could start, but now they're stuck waiting.
NITES says Wipro isn't being fair and is asking the government to make Wipro explain what's happening and give the graduates a clear answer about their jobs.
NITES filed a complaint against Wipro for delaying the onboarding of over 250 selected fresh graduates.
Candidates received Letters of Intent and confirmed onboarding emails but faced delays of six to eight months.
Wipro allegedly did not provide clear communication or reasons for the delays.
Affected candidates are from multiple states across India, indicating a systemic issue.
NITES has requested the Union Labour Minister to seek an explanation from Wipro and direct them to provide clear decisions to all affected candidates.
