Ladakh Replaces Category Roster With Single NEET Merit List
Ladakh has changed how some medical and dental college seats will be given out.
Earlier, students were placed into separate groups based on district, sex, and reservation status.
Now, all eligible students will be placed on one list.
Their NEET ranking and college choices will decide admission.
The change comes after Ladakh created seven new districts.
For 2026-27, Ladakh received seven MBBS seats and two BDS seats.
The seats are at colleges in several Indian cities.
Eligible students will have seven days to apply online through the official Ladakh NIC portal.
