Indian Super League media rights bid as Jamshedpur FC withdraws

Indian Super League media rights bid as Jamshedpur FC withdraws

There is a big football league in India called the Indian Super League.

The league wants a company to show its matches on TV or online.

It asked for offers, called bids, on 25 July.

The winning company would pay money for the right to show matches for four years.

The league hopes this money can help clubs that are having money problems.

But soon after asking for offers, a club called Jamshedpur FC decided to leave the league.

The club said it could not earn enough money to keep running.

Jamshedpur FC also said the way the league's business works is not working for clubs.

The league also plans to hire new leaders, like a chief executive.

Everyone is watching to see if selling the TV rights will solve the money troubles.
