NMC Reopens FMGE Eligibility Certificate Applications From September 1, 2026
The National Medical Commission is reopening applications for an important certificate needed by some foreign medical graduates.
Applications can be submitted online from September 1 to September 30, 2026.
The application period ends at 6 PM on September 30.
People who already applied for the certificate do not need to apply again.
Some candidates must have this certificate before applying for the FMGE screening test.
The FMGE will now be held three times a year instead of twice.
An extra FMGE is planned for October 31, 2026, while another exam has been moved to a later date in January or February 2027.

Candidates requiring the certificate cannot apply for the FMGE Screening Test without an NMC-issued certificate.
