Mumbai College Cutoffs Drop for Traditional Courses
Imagine you're applying to college, but this year, fewer people want to study the same things.
This means the scores needed to get into some popular courses, like BA and BCom, have dropped.
At some colleges, the scores went down a lot!
Some colleges are now letting people who didn't apply earlier get in.
This might be because students are choosing new courses, or maybe they missed the deadline.
Science courses also have fewer students applying.
Meanwhile, other courses that cost more money haven't dropped as much in scores.
Cutoffs for BA and BCom courses in Mumbai colleges have decreased.
FYBA cutoffs dropped significantly at Jai Hind College, from 92.17% to 87%.
Ruia College closed the second list for FYBA at 88%, down 2% from the first.
FYBSc cutoffs have also dropped, with some colleges likely to offer walk-in admissions.
Cutoffs for self-financed courses have seen only a marginal drop.
