Two IPL Teams in Google's 2025 Top Searched Teams

Google has shared its list of most searched sports teams for 2025.

Two teams from the Indian Premier League (IPL), Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals, are in the top five.

Interestingly, neither of these teams has ever won an IPL title.

The top two teams are football clubs Paris Saint Germain and S.L Benfica, followed by the Toronto Blue Jays, who were runners-up in the 2025 World Series.

Punjab Kings reached the IPL final in 2025 but lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who won their first-ever title.

Other IPL teams like Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants also made it to the top ten list, along with NBA teams Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers, and MLB's Seattle Mariners.
