Giant Digital Camera Captures Stunning First Images of Space
Imagine a giant eye in Chile, much bigger and better than anything before!
This eye is a telescope called the Vera C Rubin Observatory, and it just took its first pictures.
Its camera is the biggest ever made, with a whopping 3,200 megapixels!
The first images show amazing details, like the Trifid and Lagoon Nebulae in the Milky Way.
To get one picture, they used hundreds of smaller pictures taken with different colored filters.
These images are a big deal because they will help us learn more about the universe.
