Rajasthan ACB Arrests Driver in Alleged Bribery Case

A government court in Mundawar was handling a land-partition disagreement.

A person involved in the case wanted officials to order a new report about the land.

The assistant collector reportedly told the person to speak with his driver, Gajendra Singh.

Singh allegedly asked for money to help get the new directions issued.

The person then told Rajasthan’s anti-corruption agency.

The agency checked the demand and arranged a trap.

Singh was arrested when he allegedly accepted money.

Officials said the demand included Rs 50,000 for the requested action and Rs 5,000 for Singh.

The report differs on the amount accepted, mentioning Rs 15,000 during verification while its headline says Rs 25,000.
