Madhya Pradesh Schools Await Principal Postings After Promotions

Madhya Pradesh Schools Await Principal Postings After Promotions

Many schools in Madhya Pradesh do not have permanent principals right now.

This includes most of the state’s Sandipani schools.

Only 66 of 275 Sandipani schools have regular principals, while many others have temporary in-charge principals.

A similar problem affects about 2,500 higher secondary schools.

The government has already promoted many teachers to principal positions.

However, those teachers have not yet received orders saying where they will work.

Officials want to keep them at their current schools to avoid disrupting classes during the academic year.

The plan still needs approval from the education minister.

Until then, many schools will continue without regular principals.
