Telangana Cabinet to Decide on Local Body Elections, Reservation Modalities

The leaders of Telangana are having an important meeting on Monday.

They will talk about when to hold local elections, like for village leaders.

They want to have these elections soon because they just won another election in Jubilee Hills.

They also need to figure out how to give special seats in the elections to certain groups, as old rules for this were canceled by courts.

The leaders might also approve new rules for gig workers, like delivery people, and decide on support for the family of a recently deceased poet.

Other big projects like the Kaleshwaram project might also be discussed.

The court wants to know by November 24th when the elections will happen.
