Jagan Demands Rs 6,000 Crore Relief Amid Andhra Drought

Andhra Pradesh is facing a serious lack of rain, according to Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He says many areas are suffering because crops could not be planted or were damaged.

Jagan blamed the government led by Chandrababu Naidu for not acting quickly enough.

He said farmers need help with seeds, fodder, water and electricity.

He also said farm loans should be rescheduled and crop insurance should be restored.

Jagan proposed money for land where farmers could not plant crops and for crops that were damaged.

He asked for a total input subsidy of Rs 6,000 crore.

He told his party leaders to visit farmers and press the government to provide immediate relief.
