India and UK to Negotiate Professional Recognition After Trade Deal
India and the UK are working on making it easier for professionals like doctors and architects to work in the UK.
They're planning to recognize each other's qualifications so people can move more freely.
The UK is also making it easier for Indian professionals to visit and work there.
This trade deal also helps India to have more trade opportunities.
India currently sells more goods and services to the UK than it buys from them.
India and the UK will negotiate mutual recognition agreements (MRAs) after the trade deal's implementation.
MRAs will facilitate the movement of professionals like nurses, accountants, and architects to Britain.
The UK has assured a mobility regime for Indian professionals.
This includes provisions for business visitors, intra-corporate transferees, investors, and service suppliers.
