Altaf Bukhari Warns Omar Abdullah Over Kashmir Power Tariff Hike

Jammu and Kashmir has increased its electricity prices by 6.83 per cent.

Altaf Bukhari wants Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to cancel the increase.

At a rally, Bukhari used strong words to warn Abdullah.

He also mentioned Abdullah’s father, Farooq Abdullah, and events during the insurgency of the 1990s.

Bukhari accused Omar Abdullah of taking money in connection with a hotel sale, but the article does not establish this allegation as fact.

The hotel was leased to Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts for 60 years.

Omar Abdullah is being criticized because he had promised 200 units of free electricity.

Abdullah has said there will be no further tariff increases and that his other commitments will be completed within three and a half years.
