APWJF Avanigadda meet demands journalist welfare

The Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation (APWJF) held a meeting in Avanigadda to discuss the welfare of journalists.

They talked about important issues like getting back railway pass benefits, starting a pension plan after retirement, and getting land for houses.

The meeting also elected a new committee for the Avanigadda area.

The federation is planning a big event called Demand Day on July 31, where journalists will ask for these things from local government officials.

Many important people from the journalism world were there, and they all agreed that journalists are very important for democracy.

The new committee will help make sure these demands are met.
