Patanjali Defends Cow Milk and Ghee Standards
Patanjali, a company that sells cow milk and ghee, said they only sell these products after strict checks.
They made this statement because some news reports said their ghee was not good.
Patanjali said the test was done in a lab that wasn't properly approved, and the test was done after the sample had expired, which is not allowed by law.
They think the court order about their ghee is wrong and not legal.
Patanjali clarified that their cow milk and ghee are sold after strict standards and inspections.
The company responded to media reports about a court order concerning a sample of Patanjali cow ghee taken on 20 October 2020.
Patanjali stated that the testing lab was not NABL accredited, making the test results legally unacceptable.
The parameters used to declare the sample as failed were not applicable at that time, according to Patanjali.
The sample was retested after its expiry date, which is invalid as per law.
