India-EU FTA Talks Progress with Goyal's Brussels Visit
Piyush Goyal, the Indian Commerce Minister, recently visited Brussels and Liechtenstein to discuss important trade agreements.
In Brussels, he talked with EU officials about making a trade deal between India and the EU.
They focused on protecting farmers and small businesses while helping Indian industries connect with the world.
They also discussed how to resolve any issues and make the agreement fair for both sides.
Before this, there were meetings to prepare for these talks.
In Liechtenstein, Goyal was the first Indian Cabinet Minister to visit.
He talked about a trade agreement called TEPA, which helps with investment, technology, and skills.
He invited Liechtenstein companies to invest in India and visited a company called Hilti Group to discuss making more products in India.
He also met the Prime Minister of Liechtenstein to talk about working together on skills and training.
Piyush Goyal concluded a two-day visit to Brussels for India-EU FTA negotiations.
