CEO Trampled to Death by Elephant at South African Reserve
A sad event happened in South Africa.
The owner of a game reserve, who loved elephants, was killed by one.
It was at his own reserve, a place where rich people go on vacation.
The man was trying to move a group of elephants when a big one attacked.
Sadly, he died from the attack.
This is not the first time something like this has happened at the reserve.
Another person was killed by an elephant there last year.
The reserve is a popular place for tourists, including celebrities, and is currently fully booked.
Gondwana Game Reserve CEO, Francois Christiaan Conradie, was fatally attacked by an elephant on July 22.
The incident occurred while Conradie was attempting to guide elephants away from tourist lodges.
Conradie, who also owned a sports management company, had a deep passion for elephants.
This marks the second fatal elephant attack at Gondwana Game Reserve; another staff member died in March 2023.
The reserve is a five-star safari destination near Mossel Bay, South Africa, and is currently fully booked.
