IIT-Bombay Hosts Chemistry Camp for Visually Impaired Students
Imagine learning about colors and seeing them without using your eyes.
That's what the Chemistry Camp was like!
IIT-Bombay organized a special camp for students who can't see.
They learned about chemistry by touching and smelling things.
They used models they could feel and smelled chemicals to identify them.
The camp was supported by a chemistry society and made learning fun for everyone.
IIT-Bombay hosted the 75th Yusuf Hamied Chemistry Camp.
The camp was designed for 59 visually impaired students.
The camp provided hands-on chemistry experiences through touch and smell.
Experiments included tactile models and scent-based identification.
The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) supported the camp.
