CISCE Orders Schools to Keep CCTV Footage for 60 Days

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has told school principals to keep CCTV recordings of the ICSE and ISC exams for 60 days after the results are announced.

This is to make sure everything is fair and honest.

The ICSE exams start on February 17, and the ISC exams start on February 12.

Schools must keep these recordings in case the council needs to check them.

Some schools have lost their status as exam centers in the past for not providing these recordings.

The council also said that the room where exam materials are kept should be under CCTV surveillance.

Many principals think this is a good idea because it makes the exams more transparent.

Some schools save the recordings on a drive.

If there is a timing overlap between ICSE and ISC exams, even the separate room must be under strict CCTV surveillance.
