Yemen's Houthis Vow to Target Israel if Gaza Ceasefire Fails
Imagine two groups of people are fighting, and a temporary truce is in place.
One group, called the Houthis in Yemen, has sent a message saying that if the fighting in Gaza doesn't stop, they will start attacking Israel again with rockets and drones.
They previously did this before the truce.
The Houthis also say they support the other fighting group, Hamas.
Meanwhile, the leader of Israel has said that the Houthis are a danger and that they are working to stop them.
The Houthis have also recently gotten more people to join their fighters and are preparing for potential conflict.
Yemen's Houthis threatened to resume missile and drone attacks on Israel if the Gaza ceasefire collapses.
The Houthis reaffirmed their pledge to stand with the Palestinian Hamas movement.
The group had previously launched hundreds of projectiles toward Israel and targeted ships in the Red Sea until the current ceasefire.
Yousif al-Madani, the Houthi chief of staff, sent the warning in a letter to Hamas.
These threats come amid heightened regional tensions and a recent Israeli statement about eliminating the Houthi threat.
