ASI enables online ticket booking for 170+ monuments on ONDC
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has started allowing people to book tickets online for over 170 historical sites and museums.
This is done through a special digital network called ONDC.
Now, people can buy tickets using different apps on their phones.
Indian visitors get a small discount of ₹5, and foreigners get ₹50 off.
This makes it easier for everyone to visit these places without having to wait in long lines.
The technology behind this is managed by a company called NDML.
Right now, you can book tickets on apps like Highway Delite, Pelocal’s WhatsApp service, and Abhee by Mondee, with more apps coming soon.
