Tirupati SP directs schools to strengthen student safety measures

A police officer named Subba Rayudu, who is in charge of the Tirupati district, met with people who run private schools and colleges.

He wanted to talk about how to keep students safe.

He said keeping students safe is not just the job of police, but also parents, teachers, schools, and everyone in society.

He told schools to put up CCTV cameras that work all the time and watch important places like gates, exits, and parking areas.

He also said students should learn about online dangers like cybercrimes, fake links, and online harassment.

Parents and teachers should watch what children do online and teach them to use technology safely.

Special care should be taken to keep girls safe.

People who harass or tease students must face strict action.

School buses and vans must be safe too, with a driver and an attendant, and everyone must follow road rules.

This way students can feel safe at school and on their way to and from school.
