Advocate Arrested for Forging Minor Certificate in Land Deal
Imagine someone wanted to buy some land, but to do so they needed to prove a minor was involved.
A lawyer named V.K. Sharma is accused of making a fake document, like a certificate, to show that a minor was involved.
He made it look like a real judge had signed it.
But the real judge didn't!
When a builder tried to use this fake certificate to buy land in Ulwe, someone checked it and found out it was fake.
The police caught the lawyer and are now trying to figure out if anyone else was helping him and if he made other fake documents.
A 70-year-old advocate was arrested by Panvel City Police.
The arrest is related to a forged minor certificate.
The forged certificate was discovered during a land deal in Ulwe.
The certificate purportedly bore the seal and signature of an Additional Sessions Judge.
The accused was remanded in police custody for investigation.
