Naidu Gives Ownership Rights to 28,445 Visakhapatnam Beneficiaries
Many people in Visakhapatnam lived in homes but did not have papers proving they owned them.
Because of this, they often could not get loans.
The government regularised the land and gave ownership documents to 28,445 people.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu handed some of the documents to beneficiaries.
Other people collected their documents from special counters.
The regularised land covers 399 acres in 11 mandals.
The beneficiaries said they felt relieved and very happy.
They said their long wait for secure ownership had finally ended.
