PM Modi Praises Dubai Kannada School

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently talked about a special school in Dubai called Kannada Patha Shaale Dubai (KPSD) in his radio show, Mann Ki Baat.

This school teaches Kannada, a language spoken in the Indian state of Karnataka, to children of Kannada-speaking families living in Dubai.

The school was started by a group called Kannada Mitraru U.A.E. in 2014.

PM Modi praised the school for helping children learn their mother tongue while living abroad.

The school has around 1,400 students and is run by volunteers.

The mention by the Prime Minister made the Kannada community in Dubai very happy and proud.

The school holds classes on Fridays and Saturdays and has different levels for students based on their proficiency in Kannada.

The initiative is driven by the love for the language and aims to preserve it for future generations.
