AP Chambers Advocates MSME-Friendly Labour Code Implementation
A big meeting happened in Vijayawada where business groups and government officials talked about new labour laws.
These laws are supposed to make things easier for businesses and workers.
The business groups said that small and medium-sized businesses need more time and help to follow these new rules because they are already having a hard time with money and sales.
They suggested that the government should make the rules easier to follow and give businesses a few years to get used to them.
The government officials listened and talked about how the new laws work.
Everyone agreed to work together to make sure the new laws are fair and easy to follow.
FICCI, AP Chambers, and AIOE organized a regional consultation on Labour Codes in Vijayawada.
Union ministry officials presented the objectives and implementation framework of the four Labour Codes.
AP Chambers emphasized the need for operational clarity, harmonisation of rules, and predictability in compliance.
AP Chambers submitted a representation outlining MSME concerns and suggesting a phased, facilitative implementation.
Suggestions included easing financial burden, providing a 2-3 year transition period, and a trust-based digital compliance framework.
