Hyderabad STP Project Nears Completion, Promises Cleaner Future
Hyderabad is building new sewage treatment plants (STPs) to clean up the city's wastewater.
This project, which started in 2022, will help handle the sewage from a growing population.
Eighteen plants are already working, and two more are almost finished.
The goal is to treat all the sewage, making the water cleaner and protecting the environment.
Once done, Hyderabad will be among the first cities in India with a complete sewage treatment system, leading to a cleaner and healthier future.
Hyderabad's STP project is nearing completion after delays.
Land acquisition and legal issues have been resolved.
18 STPs are fully operational, with two more under construction.
Remaining projects expected to finish this year or by end of 2025.
