Nashik MP Rajabhau Waje Presents India’s Social Development Priorities at UNGA

Rajabhau Waje, a member of India’s Parliament from Nashik, spoke at a United Nations meeting about social development.

He said that a country’s progress is about more than making its economy bigger.

People also need healthcare, food, homes, jobs and protection when they need help.

He pointed to digital and financial inclusion and support for workers in the unorganised sector.

He mentioned the e-Shram portal as part of efforts to support workers.

Waje said India’s 2047 development vision should include every part of society.

He also said governments at different levels and citizens need to help put development goals into practice.
