Labourer Dies After Neck Trapped Under Rajgarh Bridge

A 28-year-old worker named Birum Mogi was working under a bridge in Khilchipur.

He was putting wooden planks in a river to slow the water.

His neck became stuck between two planks.

He stayed trapped in deep, fast-moving water for nearly two hours.

Rescue workers first tried ropes and bamboo poles, but those attempts did not work.

A JCB was then used to move the planks.

Mogi’s body was carried downstream by the current and later recovered.

His family asked for Rs 1 crore in compensation and said workers needed better safety protection.
