PM Modi Inaugurates Ethanol Plant in Assam, Launches Projects
Prime Minister Modi opened a new plant in Assam that makes fuel from bamboo, helping farmers and being kind to the environment.
This plant produces ethanol and useful by-products.
He also started a project to build a plant that makes plastic.
These projects are meant to make India more self-sufficient in energy and industry, creating jobs, and boosting the local economy.
PM Modi inaugurated a ₹5,000-crore bamboo-based ethanol plant in Assam.
He also laid the foundation stone for a ₹7,231-crore polypropylene plant.
The ethanol plant will process five lakh tonnes of bamboo annually.
These projects represent a combined investment of over ₹12,200 crore.
The initiatives are part of India's green energy transition and sustainable growth.
