Tirupati Human Milk Bank Supports Newborns
In Tirupati, there's a special milk bank for babies who need help.
It started in April 2024, with help from the Rotary Club.
Mothers who have extra milk can give it to the bank.
The milk is checked to make sure it's safe, then cleaned and stored.
Doctors give this milk to babies who were born too early or are sick, and can't get milk from their own mothers.
The milk helps the babies grow and stay healthy, and it's been very helpful to many newborns.
Rotary Human Milk Bank in Tirupati provides breast milk to vulnerable newborns.
