Vijayawada Temple Sees Heavy Rush During Ashada Festivities
On Sunday, a very large number of people visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam temple in Vijayawada.
This was because of special celebrations called Ashada festivities.
The temple had so many visitors that special rules were made to manage the crowd.
Important people were not allowed special entry, and everyone had to wait in the same lines.
Women offered special sarees to the goddess, and a big colorful parade brought a golden offering to the temple.
The temple is also getting ready for another festival called Shakambari, where the goddess will be decorated with vegetables and fruits.
The temple is working hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe during these busy days.
