Baazar Style Retail Q1 Profit Rises 8.5%, Revenue Jumps 29%

Baazar Style Retail is a company that runs stores selling clothes and household items.

It just told everyone how its business did in the first three months of its new financial year.

In those three months, the company made a small profit of ₹2.23 crore.

That is 8.5% more profit than it made in the same period last year.

It also sold much more than before — its revenue grew by 29%.

In the previous three months, the company had lost ₹25.65 crore, mostly because of a one-time cost from a fire at its old warehouse.

Now it has turned things around and is profitable again.

The company also converted special investments called warrants into real shares after collecting ₹36.93 crore from investors.

It earned ₹0.30 for each of its shares, a little more than last year.

All of this means the company is growing and doing better financially.
