Gift Nifty Signals Cautious Indian Market Open, Stocks Watched

Indian share prices fell on Wednesday and Thursday.

Gift Nifty suggested that Indian markets might start Friday quietly or slightly lower.

One analyst believed cheaper oil and strength in some sectors could support a steady opening.

Another analyst warned that the market was close to important support levels and could fall further if those levels broke.

Oil prices declined because investors hoped that supply problems near the Strait of Hormuz might ease.

However, uncertainty about talks between the United States and Iran continued to make investors cautious.

The Bank Nifty index looked stronger than the broader market but still struggled to stay above 58,000.

Analysts suggested watching selected metal, auto, banking, pharmaceutical, technology and industrial stocks.

Their suggested entry prices, targets and stop-loss levels were trading ideas, not guarantees of profits.
