NIA Conducts Raids in Bihar and Haldwani
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids in two different places in connection with the Red Fort blast that happened on November 10.
In Haldwani, Uttarakhand, an Imam was arrested early in the morning.
The police think he might know something about a man named Umar-un-Nabi, who was involved in the blast.
The area where the Imam lives is known for having problems between different groups of people, so the police had to be very careful and brought in extra officers to keep everything peaceful.
In Bihar, the NIA raided the house of a retired postal official named Abdul Hadi.
Hadi said his family was shocked and didn't know why the NIA came to their house.
He claimed that the entire house was searched thoroughly, and the family felt distressed by the experience.
An Imam from Banbhulpura, Haldwani, was arrested in a pre-dawn raid for alleged links to the Red Fort blast accused.
The arrest was made based on mobile call records linking him to Umar-un-Nabi, the main accused in the Delhi blast case.
The raid was conducted by a joint team of the NIA and Delhi Police with heavy security due to the area's communal sensitivity.
The NIA also raided the house of a retired postal official in Saidpur village, Khagaria district, Bihar, in connection with the same case.
The retired official, Abdul Hadi, claimed that his family was shocked and distressed by the raid, stating they had no involvement in any police case.
