Rajasthan Artisan Faces ₹6.78 Crore GST Notice Over Fake Firm

Jitendra Kumar Jingar makes leather shoes in a small town in Rajasthan.

He earned only a few thousand rupees a month.

One day, he found out that a company called Shivam Exports was using his personal ID to do business in Tamil Nadu.

The government said he owed a huge amount of tax, about ₹6.78 crore, and froze his bank account.

Jitendra says he never started a company or traveled to Tamil Nadu.

He thinks someone used his documents when he applied for a loan in 2018.

Local officials told him to file a police report and investigate the fake registration.

His family is staying with his brother while he tries to fix the problem.
