Gandra Calls for Urgent Overhaul of Residential School Facilities
Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy visited two schools in Jayashankar Bhupalpally.
He saw that the buildings were cracked, the lights were weak, and the bathrooms were not clean.
He asked the local government to fix these problems and add fans and a reading room.
He also said the schools should spray mosquito‑killing fog and use bleach to keep everyone healthy during the rainy season.
Gandra wants the schools to be safer and better for students.
Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy inspected Minority Residential School and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Jayashankar Bhupalpally.
He cited poor sanitation, building cracks, inadequate lighting, and lack of painting as major infrastructure issues.
At KGBV, he urged improved bathroom facilities for girls, installation of fans and lights, and a dedicated reading hall.
He called for mosquito fogging, bleaching powder application, and hygiene maintenance during monsoon to curb seasonal diseases.
Gandra urged the government to raise educational standards and provide better infrastructure for residential school students.
