Chandigarh Announces E-Auction for Prime Real Estate
The city of Chandigarh is selling off some properties through an online auction.
This means people can bid on them from their computers.
There are houses and businesses available, like plots of land for building.
The most expensive plot for a house starts at about 15 crore rupees!
The auction will happen in early September.
To participate, people need to submit paperwork and money beforehand.
The whole process is managed by the government online.
Chandigarh is holding an e-auction for residential and commercial properties.
The e-auction includes a residential plot with a reserve price of Rs 14.96 crore.
A commercial SCO site in Sector 8-C is listed with a reserve price of Rs 14.59 crore.
Residential sites are freehold; commercial properties are leasehold.
The e-auction process is scheduled from September 2 to 4.
