X Launches WhatsApp-Like Features to Boost DM Experience
X, the social media platform, is updating its direct messaging (DM) features to make them better, like the popular messaging app WhatsApp.
Now, when you're chatting, you'll see when someone is typing, just like on WhatsApp.
You can also react to messages quickly with emojis, tag people in group chats using the @ symbol, and search for old messages.
Plus, you have more control over who can message you.
These updates are designed to make chatting on X easier and more fun, similar to other messaging apps.
X, previously known as Twitter, is adding features to its direct messaging (DM) to enhance user experience.
New features include a typing indicator to show when someone is typing and emoji reactions for quick responses.
Users can now mention others in chats using the '@' symbol for better engagement in group conversations.
Message dividers and a chat search function have been added to improve organization and usability.
Enhanced privacy controls allow users to manage who can send them DMs and block messages without blocking users.
