Delhi CM Inspects Bhalaswa Flats, Promises Housing for Slum Dwellers
The Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, visited some old flats in the Bhalaswa area that were built in 2016 but have been empty for many years.
She was very upset that these flats, meant for poor families, were not given to anyone and have fallen into bad condition.
She promised that her government will fix these flats and turn them into a nice place to live with all the necessary things like parks, healthcare, and places to park vehicles.
She also said that her government is committed to giving homes to all the families living in slums.
She asked the officials to hurry up and finish the work so that these families can move into their new homes soon.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inspected 7,400 flats in Bhalaswa built in 2016 but left unoccupied for years.
