Tripura Student Dies After Racial Attack
A young student named Anjel Chakma from Tripura was sadly killed after being attacked in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
He and his brother were out when some people started saying mean things to them, calling them names like 'Chinese' and 'momo'.
This made Anjel very upset, and he tried to protect his brother, but the people hurt him badly with knives and other things.
He was in the hospital for 17 days but didn't survive.
Some people were caught for doing this, but one person ran away to Nepal.
A famous leader named Shashi Tharoor said this kind of racism is becoming more common in North India and that it's very wrong.
The police are trying to catch the person who ran away.
Another leader, Rahul Gandhi, also said that hate is being normalized by the ruling party, and we should all stand up against it.
The people of Tripura and other northeastern states are very sad and angry about what happened.

Five suspects were arrested, including two juveniles, with one absconding to Nepal.

Congress leaders condemned the incident, blaming the BJP for normalizing hate, while BJP officials expressed sadness and assured justice.
