Nashik Farmers Asked to Submit Evidence on Onion Procurement

Nashik Farmers Asked to Submit Evidence on Onion Procurement

Some people have complained that onions were not bought properly in Nashik.

The Maharashtra Government has created a committee to investigate these complaints.

Nashik District Collector Ayush Prasad will lead the committee.

The onion-buying programme is being run by two national cooperative organisations.

Farmers, traders and other people who know about problems can send written complaints.

They have one week to submit them.

They should include documents or other evidence if they have any.

The committee will study the information and decide what action may be needed.
