Prathima Hospital Performs Minimally Invasive Keyhole Heart Bypass Surgery

A man named Bhimrao was taken to Prathima Hospital after he suddenly had chest pain and sweating.

Doctors found serious blockages in the blood vessels that supply his heart.

They said stents were not suitable for these blockages.

Instead, they performed a heart bypass operation using a small incision.

They did not cut through his chest bone.

The doctors placed two grafts to help restore blood flow.

Bhimrao was stable after the operation.

The surgery was free under the Aarogyasri scheme.
