CCLA directs better handling of grievances at Prakasam Collectorate
G Jayalakshmi visited a public complaints programme in Ongole.

She inspected facilities and observed staff helping people prepare and upload applications online.
Officials said non-revenue complaints were being incorrectly filed under the revenue category, increasing petition numbers and dissatisfaction.
Jayalakshmi advised appointing an application-screening officer and suggested a MeeSeva centre at the Collectorate on grievance days.
