Rhiya Ahir Reflects on Viral Mumbai Protest Moment

Rhiya Ahir is a woman who became famous for standing in front of a police van during student protests in Mumbai.

She did this to stop the police from taking away students who were protesting.

The students wanted the Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, to resign because they thought there were problems with their exams.

Many people praised Rhiya for her bravery.

The protest group, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), called off the protest after Pradhan resigned.

Rhiya said she was surprised by all the attention but also felt responsible to use her new platform to help others.
