Rakesh Bedi Demands 'Attempt to Murder' Charges for Food Adulterers
Rakesh Bedi is a famous actor in India who has been entertaining people for more than forty years.
He is worried because some people are secretly adding bad or harmful things to food, drinks, and alcohol.
These people do this only to earn more money.
But what they are doing can make many people sick or even put their lives in danger.
So Rakesh Bedi made a video on social media to talk about this problem.
In the video, he said that people who spoil food and drinks on purpose should be charged just like people who try to hurt or kill someone.
He thinks the punishment for this kind of behavior is not strong enough.
He believes everyone who buys these products is at risk, and the law should treat this very seriously.
Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi demanded that those adulterating food, drinks and alcohol for financial gain face 'attempt to murder' charges.
In a video shared on his social media, Bedi questioned the lack of stern consequences for adulteration of consumable products.
He argued that deliberately compromising the quality of products to make extra money puts the lives of unsuspecting consumers at risk.
The actor recently reinvented his career with his portrayal of Shakeel in the blockbuster hit Dhurandhar.
Bedi has spent over four decades in the entertainment industry, appearing in films like Chashme Buddoor, Coolie No. 1 and Gadar 2, and TV shows such as Shrimaan Shrimati and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
