Telangana High Court Directs Police to Follow Arrest Procedure

The Telangana High Court considered a request from Manne Krishank, a BRS social media leader.

He asked the court to protect him from being arrested.

The court told police not to arrest him immediately in this case.

It said the alleged offences carried sentences of less than three years.

Instead, police must give Krishank a notice under a section of the BNSS.

Krishank must cooperate with the investigation.

The case began after a social media post about events at Saifabad police station and the work of the police department.

The court also sent notices to senior government and police officials.
